Joseph COTTON

Joseph was born in 1661 in Portsmouth, Rockingham Co., New Hampshire. Joseph's father was William COTTON and his mother was Elizabeth HAM. His paternal grandfather was John COTTON; his maternal grandparents were William HAM and Honor STEPHENS. He had five brothers and a sister, named John, William, Solomon, Thomas, Benjamin and Sarah. He is the second youngest of the seven children.
