Joel COFFEY 
Joel was born in 1770 in Albemarle, Va. Joel's father was James COFFEY and his mother was Elizabeth CLEVELAND. His paternal grandparents were John COFFEY and Jane(Jean) GRAVES; his maternal grandparents were Alexander CLEVELAND and Mildred PRESLEY. He had nine brothers and five sisters, named John, Archelious, Archelaus, Reuben, Ambrose, Eli, Rice, Lewis Russell, James, Martha, (Miss), Elizabeth, Elizabeth and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 56 in December 1826 in , Wayne Co., Ky. He was buried in , , Wayne, Kentucky.General Notes
