John CHILD

John was born on January 25th, 1832 in Bradford, Yrkshr, Engl.  John's father was William CHILD and his mother was Elizabeth BATTERSBY. He had six brothers and three sisters, named James, Thomas, William Battersby, William Barker, Ebenezer, Joseph, Sarah, Mary Ann and Elizabeth.  He was the third youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 15 on June 3rd, 1847.
