William Betts 
William was born in 1742 in Pitseck Creek, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.1 William's father was Thomas Betts and his mother was Susannah Field. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Betts and Mercy Whitehead. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Richard, Daniel, Zachariah, Patience, Sarah, Mercy, Miriam and Jane. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Thomas, John, Stephen, Thomas, Ann and Susannah. He died at the age of 77 in 1819 in Buckingham Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He was buried in Buckingham Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.1 1 -
