Sampson Bennett 
Sampson was born in 1810. Sampson's father was Jacob Bennett and his mother was Mary Persinger. His paternal grandparents are John Bennett and Sarah Clancy; his maternal grandparents were John Henry Persinger and Griselda Humphries. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Henry, William, Jane Jennie, Phebe Margaret, Elizabeth Martha Holoway and Nancy. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 85 in 1895.-
