James BOWNE 
James was born in 1636 in Yorkshire, Eng. and his baptism took place on August 25th, 1636 in Salem, Essex, Massachusetts. James' father was William (Bound) BOWNE OR BOUND and his mother was Mrs. Ann BOWNE. He had three brothers and a sister, named Andrew, Philip, Gershom and Daughter. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 48 on January 3rd, 1684 in Middletown, Monmouth Co., Nj. He was buried in Middletown, , New Jersey.General Notes
