William BARTON

William was born on January 30th, 1821 in Lebanon, St. Clair Co., Il.  William's father was John BARTON and his mother was Sally (Sarah) PENN. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John Westly, Joseph Penn, Stephen Smith, John Samuel, Elizabeth, Matilda Jane, Julia King, Sarah Penn and Eliza Ann.  He was the second oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 81 on October 11th, 1902 in Paragonah, Iron Co., Ut.  He was buried on October 14th, 1902 in Parowan, Iron, Utah.
