Rebecca Jane was born in 1813 in , Guilford, North Carolina, USA. Rebecca Jane's father was Jessie Andrew and her mother was Jane Gannon. Her paternal grandparents are Curtis Andrew and Peggy UNKNOWN; her maternal grandparents were Perry Gannon and Esther Andrew. She had five brothers and three sisters, named George, John, Charles Gannon, Jessie, Richard J, Celia, Nancy and Mary A. She is the third youngest of the nine children.General Notes
Rebecca Jane Andrew, daughter of Jesse Andrew and Jennie Gannon did not marry William Clark. Rebecca Jane Andrew was never married.
A petition filed in the Estate of Rebecca J. Andrew states that Rebecca died single without children. Petition was filed by Chas. G. Andrew, Celia B. Jobe widow, Jesse Andrew, Mary Ann Greeson, widow, Jacob Sharpe and wife Polly.
William Clark born abt. 1829 in NC and married January 1, 1849 to Rebecca Andrew. This Rebecca was the daughter of Mark and Sarah Andrew of Guilford County, NC. Mark died in 1830 and Sarah later moved to Scott County, Virginia with her son James, daughters Martha, Mary, Rebecca and Nancy.
William Clark and Rebecca moved from Scott County, Virginia to Kentucky where they lived until they passed away.
William and Rebecca Clark is from our Andrew family and we descend from James Morrison Andrew.
