Dorothy ASHTON 
Dorothy was born in 1683 and her baptism took place on November 6th, 1683 in , Middleton, Lancashire, England. Dorothy's father was Ralph ASHTON and her mother was Mary VAVASOUR. Her paternal grandparents were Ralph ASHTON and Anne ASHTON; her maternal grandparents are Thomas VAVASOUR and Dorothy LEIGH. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Edmund, Richard Vavasour, Anne, Frances, Elizabeth, Catherine and Mary. She was the second oldest of the eight children.
