Ermenside was born in 0975 in Carcassonne, Aude, France.1   Ermenside's father was Roger De Foix and her mother was Adelaide De Rouegue Pons.  Her paternal grandparents were Arnold (Ornold) I De Commiges and Arsinda De Carcassone; her maternal grandparents were Raimond UNKNOWN and Gersende UNKNOWN. She had a brother named Bernardo Roger.  She was the younger of the two children. She had a half-brother named Raymond.  She died at the age of 83 on March 1st, 1058.2
