Abraham Yake 
Abraham was born in 1827.1 Abraham's father was Michael Yakes and his mother was Jane VanZandt. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Yakes and Mary Nicely; his maternal grandparents were Garrett VanZandt and Elizabeth Lewis. He had six brothers and eight sisters, named John, Daniel, James, William, Hiram, Solomon, Elizabeth, Mary, Susan VanZant, Susan, Nancy, Nancy Jane, Polly and Sarah. He died due to Consumption at the age of 41 on July 26th, 1868 in Worth Twp.; Sanilac Co., MI/Bk 1-Pg 5.1 General Notes
