Anthony Wydeville 
Anthony was born about 1440 in Grafton Regis, Northamptonshire, England.1 Anthony's father was Richard Woodville and his mother was Jacquette De Luxembourg. His paternal grandparents were Richard Woodville and Elizabeth (Mary) Bodulgate; his maternal grandparents were Pierre I De Luxembourg and Marguerite De Baux. He had two brothers and eight sisters, named John, Lionel, Elizabeth, Jacquetta, Joan, Margaret, Anne, Catherine, Katherine and Mary. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died on June 25th, 1483 in Executed At Pontefract, Northamptonshire, England.2 General Notes

His eldest son, Anthony Woodville, 2d Earl Rivers, 1442?–14 83, accompanied Edward into exile (1470–71) and later serve d him in various capacities. In 1473 he was appointed guard ian of Edward, prince of Wales (later Edward V). On Edwar d IV’s death, however, Rivers was arrested by Richard, duk e of Gloucester (later Richard III), and executed. A somewh at romantic and otherworldly figure, Rivers wrote translati ons of various French works.
