Joseph was born on August 24th, 1666 in Nottingham, England.1 Joseph's father was William Wood and his mother was Susanna Stubbins. He had three brothers and a sister, named William, John, Jonathan and Susanna. He died at the age of 55 on December 12th, 1721 in New Castle, Delaware.
