Maddalena was born about 1366 in of, Milano, Milano, Italy.1 Maddalena's father was Barnabo Di' Visconti and her mother was Beatrice Della Scala. Her paternal grandparents were Stefan Visconti and Valentina Doria; her maternal grandparents were Mastino II Della Scala and Taddea De Carrara. She had a brother and four sisters, named Carlo Di', Taddea, Ver, Antonia Di Milano and Elisabetta. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died on August 24th, 1404 in Burghausen, Oberbayern, Bavaria. She was buried in Kloster Raitenhaslach, Oberbayern, Bavaria.1 1 General Notes
