Almer Vanzant

Almer was born on December 25th, 1814.¹   Almer's father was Garrett VanZandt and his mother was Elizabeth Lewis. He had four brothers and five sisters, named James, William, John, Henry, Jane, Mary, Sarah, Nancy and Hannah.  He was the fourth youngest of the ten children.
