Margaret Smith

Margaret was born on April 22nd, 1822 in Newton, Lackawanna Co, PA.¹   Margaret's father was Elias Smith and her mother was Catherine Adams.  Her paternal grandparents were George Smith and Anna Barbara Beuschlein. She had a brother and a sister, named Elias A. and Sally.  She was the second oldest of the three children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Jacob, David Madison, Peter A. and Harriet Ayers.
