William Scriven 
William was born on June 6th, 1727 in Westerly, Washington, RI.1 William's father was James Scriven and his mother was Alice Knowles. His maternal grandparents were William Knowles and Alice Fish. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Isaac, Thomas, Mary and Susanna. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 99 in January 1827 in Petersburgh, Rensselaer Co., NY. He was buried in 1827 in Petersburg, Rensselaer, New York.1 1 General Notes
