Matilda Of was born about 0892 in Mensleben, Saxony, Germany.1   Matilda Of's father was Dietrich (Theodoric) Of Ringelheim and her mother was Reginhilde Of Friesland.  Her paternal grandparents were Reginhart Of The Threkwitigau and Mathilda Of Dreini; her maternal grandparents were Godefrid King Of Haithabu and Gisela De Lorraine. She had a brother and two sisters, named Lambert, Amalrada Of and Frederuna Of.  She was the second youngest of the four children.  She died in Memleben, Ringleheim, Saxony, Germany.1
