Nesta Verch Rhodri

Nesta Verch was born in 0870.¹ Nesta Verch's father was Rhodri I Maior Ap Merfyn and her mother was Angharad Verch Meurig. Her paternal grandparents were Merfyn Frych Ap Gwriad and Essylt Ferch Conan; her maternal grandfather was Meurig Ap Dyfnwallon. She had nine brothers and a sister, named Anarawd, Merfyn, Cadell, Aeddan, Tudwal Gloff, Meurig, Rhodri 'Fychan', Gwriad, Gwyddelig and Angharad Verch. She was the second youngest of the eleven children.
