William Reed 
William was born in 1565 in Canterbury, Folkestone, Kent, England.1 William's father was William Reed and his mother was Rebecca Mince Mennis. His paternal grandparents were Reed William Jr. and Eliza Mennis; his maternal grandfather was Matthew Mennis. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Richard, Matthew, Edmund, John, Thomas, Cecilia, Mildred and Lucy. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 56 in 1621. He was buried on April 24th, 1621 in St. Peter'S, Canterbury, Kent, England.1 1 General Notes
