Grace was born about 1591.1 Grace's father was Rev. Richard Ravens and her mother was Elizabeth Hedge. Her paternal grandparents were William Ravens and Joan Starlyng; her maternal grandparents were Nicholas Hedge and Alice Burrough. She had a sister named Mary. She was the older of the two children.
