William Preston 
William was born about 1556 in Yorkshire, England.1 William's father was William Preston and his mother was Ann Saunders. His paternal grandparents were George Preston and Marion Semphill; his maternal grandfather was George Saunders. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Richard, John, Adam, Ellen and Alice.
