John Preston 
John was born about 1560 in Yorkshire, England.1 John's father was William Preston and his mother was Ann Saunders. His paternal grandparents were George Preston and Marion Semphill; his maternal grandfather was George Saunders. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William, Richard, Adam, Ellen and Alice.
