Elizabeth was born in 1442 in Hinton, Somerset, England.1 Elizabeth's father was William Paulet and her mother was Elizabeth Denebaud. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Paulet and Margaret Burton; her maternal grandparents were John Denebaud and Florence L'Arcedekne. She had a sister named Christina.
