John was born about 1349 in Rode, Somerset.1 John's father was John Paulet and his mother was Elizabeth Reyney. His paternal grandfather was William Paulet; his maternal grandfather was Thomas Reyney. He was an only child. He died on November 28th, 1391.1 General Notes
