Lübbertus Geerds Lübberts 
Lübbertus Geerds was born on May 14th, 1834 in Ostfriesland, Germany.1 Lübbertus Geerds' father was Geerd Hinderks Lübberts and his mother was Geeske Harms (Sinnen) Sinning. His paternal grandparents were Hinderk Geerds Lübbers and Swaantje Geerds; his maternal grandparents were Harm Edden Sinning and Meye Geerts. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Harm Edden, Hinderk Geerds "Henry", Dirk Geerds, Dirk Gerdes, Swaantje Geerds and Maÿe Gerdes. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 85 on April 2nd, 1920. He was buried in Pleasant View Cemetery, Aplington, Iowa - Lot 261.1 1 General Notes
