Samuel House 
Samuel was born on June 10th, 1610 in Eastwell, Kent, England.1 Samuel's father was John House and his mother was Alice Lloyd. His paternal grandparents were Thomas House and Alice Hinton. He had three brothers and six sisters, named John, Thomas, Henry, Elizabeth, Hannah, Jemimah "Pininna", Drusilla, Priscillia and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the ten children. Samuel came to New England in 1634, probably with his brother-in-law Rev. John Lothrop, and settled in Scituate. He removed to Barnstable in 1639 as part of Rev. Lothop's group. He was a shipwright.
