Israel was born on July 30th, 1660 in Concord, Middlesex, MA.1 Israel's father was John Heald and his mother was Dorothy Royle. His paternal grandparents were James Heald and Elizabeth Hill; his maternal grandfather was George Royle. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Timothy, Isaac, Thomas, Gershom, Hannah, Dorothy and Dorcas. He died at the age of 78 on September 8th, 1738 in Stow, Middlesex, MA. His daughter, Mary Hale, married John IV Heald. Israel's family used the name Hale, although he is buried at Stow, Mass with the name of Heald, while his son Benjamin right beside him bears the name "Hale".
Home first in Concord. When he moved to Stow, Middlesex, Mass. he changed his name to Hale. Proof of this is shown in the record of his will.
Military service 1: May 21, 1691, The MA Gen Court voted that "the
several persons here under named lately imployed as Seaman and Soldiers in
their Majties Service against the French and Indian Enemy , who were wounded,
and maimed in said services. That a yearly stipend be allowed then as
Military service 2: Followth, until this court of Governour, and Council take
further Order." Israel Heald appears
