Joan Gilbert

Joan was born on December 3rd, 1581 in Somerset, England.¹ Joan's father was Giles Gilbert and her mother was Joan Pierce. Her paternal grandfather was Giles or Robert Gilbert. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Giles, John, William, Thomas, Matthew, Humphrey, Elizabeth, Anne and Susanna. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.¹
