William De Stoke

William was born about 1088 in Castle Rye, Near Bayeux, Normandy.¹   William's father was Ranulphus De Praers and his mother was Miss De La Feritate.  His maternal grandfather was William De La Feritate. He had five brothers named Richard, Gilbert, Geoffren, Roger and Matthias.  He was the oldest of the six children.

‌William and Miss were married in a religious ceremony about 1116 in Normandy, France.¹
