William De Brionne 
William was born about 0972 in Heismes (Hieme).1 William's father was Richard I Duke De Normandy and his mother was Connor De Crepon. His paternal grandparents were Guillaume I Longue Épée and Sprota Adela De Senlis*; his maternal grandfather was Herbastus De Crêpon. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Godfrey Count Of Brienne, Mauger Count Of Mortain, Robert, Hawise Of and Emma Princess Of. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
