Eleanor was born about 1382.1 Eleanor's father was John De Berkeley and her mother was Elizabeth Betteshorne. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas De Berkeley and Katharine Clivedon; her maternal grandparents were John Betteshorne and Goda. She had a sister named Elizabeth. She was the older of the two children. She died in August 1455. She was buried in Arundel, Sussex.1 1 General Notes
