John Carpenter 
John was born about 1628 in England.1 John's father was William Carpenter and his mother was Abigail SEARLES. His paternal grandfather was William Carpenter; his maternal grandparents were Edward Searles and Elizabeth Gifford. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Joseph, Abiah, Samuel, Hannah and Abigail. He was the oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named William. He died on May 23rd, 1695 in Rehoboth, MA.1 -
