William Brown 
William was born about 1676 in Newport, Newport, Rhode Island.1 William's father was Jeremiah Brown and his mother was Mary Gardiner. His paternal grandparents were Chaddus Brown and Elizabeth Sharparrowe. He had two brothers named James and John. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Daniel, Joseph, Samuel, Mary and Hannah. He died before February 12th, 1753 in North Kingston, Washington, Rhode Island.1 General Notes
