John C.G. Brown 
John C.G. was born on December 2nd, 1828 in South Kingstown Rhode Island.1 John C.G.'s father was Thomas Northup Browne and his mother was Ann Knowles. His maternal grandparents were Daniel III Knowles and Sally Knowles. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Nichoas W., Thomas N., Daniel Knowles, Warren Bradford Knowles, William Henry Harrison, Nicholas II, Joseph Knowles, Sarah E.K., Mary Knowles, Lucy Lillibridge and Ann. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 86 on November 9th, 1915 in Newport Rhode Island.1 General Notes
