Owain Ap Edwin

Owain was born in 1044 in Llys Edwin, Llaneurguin, Flintshire, Wales.¹ Owain's father was Edwyn Ap Goronwy and his mother was Iwerydd Verch Cynfyn. His paternal grandparents were Gronwy Ap Einon and Ethelfleda Verch Edwin; his maternal grandparents were Cynfyn Ap Gwerstan and Angharad Verch Maredudd. He was an only child. He died at the age of 61 in 1105.¹
