Joseph Earl Adams 
Joseph Earl was born on July 2nd, 1905 in Wickford North Kingstown Rhode Island.1 Joseph Earl's father was George Allen Adams and his mother was Florence Bucklin Browne. His maternal grandparents were Warren Bradford Knowles Browne and Maria Augusta Bates. He had a brother and a sister, named Lawrence Ebenezer and Margaret Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 76 on October 14th, 1981 in Teaneck New Jersey.1 General Notes

Joseph Earl Adams, 3rd child of G. Allen & Florence Brown, was a graduate
of Harvard College, Boston, Mass. in 1927 (Electical Engineering). His
employment until he retired was with Bell Telephone and AT&T Long Lines,
New York City. He later was a consultant for the company.
He married Freda Steele, a Penn. nativeand a schoolteacher in N.J. at the
time. They had two children, Joseph Warren, born 1937, and Marsha Ann,
born 1938. They resided in Teaneck, N.J. for many years.
He was the researcher and author of much of the geneological data of the
Adams/Browne/Bates/Knowles/Gardiner/Casey/Rose/Lobdell/Retan/Sherman/ and
Crandall families.
He was born on July 2, 1905 (8:30 a.m.) at the family homeon Reynolds
Street, Wickford. His marriage to Freda Elizabeth Steele by Rev.C. Ivor
Helstrom was performed April 11, 1936 at the Riverside Church chapel,
Manhattan, New York City.
