Richard Swift 
Richard was born in 1502 in Rotherham,Yorkshire,England.1 Richard's father was Alexander Swift and his mother was Margaret Ingle. His paternal grandfather was William Swift. He was an only child. He died about 1582 in Yorkshire,England.1 
‌Richard and Jean were married in a religious ceremony in 1529.1 They had five sons and two daughters, named William, Richard, Hugh, John, Henry, Margaret and Jane.
