John Swift 
John was born about 1536.1 John's father was Richard Swift and his mother was Jean Wheelock. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Swift and Margaret Ingle; his maternal grandfather was Richard Wheelock. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Richard, Hugh, Henry, Margaret and Jane. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
