Benjamin Sparr 
Benjamin was born in 1768 and his baptism took place on October 23rd, 1768 in Strayer's Lutheran Church,Dover Twp.,York Co.,PA. Benjamin's father was Johann Peter (Petrus) Sparr and his mother was Eva Elizabeth Bartmess. His paternal grandparents were Johann Georg Sparr and Maria Catrina Kauffmann. He had four brothers and a sister, named John George, John, John Frederick, Peter and Catherine Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the six children.-
