John George Spahr 
John George was born in 1765 in Lancaster Co.,PA. John George's father was Johann Peter (Petrus) Sparr and his mother was Eva Elizabeth Bartmess. His paternal grandparents were Johann Georg Sparr and Maria Catrina Kauffmann. He had four brothers and a sister, named John, Benjamin, John Frederick, Peter and Catherine Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the six children. He died in Ohio Territory.-
