George Mackay 
George was born about 1750 in Augusta County (now Warren Co.) Virginia. George's father was Zachariah Mackay and his mother was Lydia Whitson. His paternal grandparents were Robert Mackay and Ann Brown; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Whitson and UNKNOWN Nann. He had two sisters named Dorcas and Deborah. He was the youngest of the three children.-
