Phoebe was born on September 3rd, 1777 in Augusta Co., VA.1 Phoebe's father was Jacob Jobe and her mother was Deborah Macay. Her paternal grandparents were Caleb Job and Barbary UNKNOWN; her maternal grandparents were Zachariah Mackay and Lydia Whitson. She was an only child. She died at the age of 80 on August 17th, 1858 in Jonesborough, TN. She was buried in August 1858 in Bacon Family Cemetary.1 1 General Notes
