Henry was born in 1110 in Huntingdon,Huntingdonshire,Scotland.  Henry's father was David I of Scotland and his mother was Maud Matilda de Huntingdon.  His paternal grandparents were Malcolm III Caenmore and Margaret Aetheling Saint; his maternal grandparents were Waltheof II de Hungtingdon and Judith de Boulogne.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 42 on June 12th, 1152 in Kelso,Roxburgh,Scotland.  He was buried in Kelso Abbey,Roxburgh,Scotland.


Henry's first family with Adelaide de Warenne

‌Henry and Adelaide were married in a religious ceremony in 1139 in Scotland.  They had four sons and four daughters, named William, David, David, Malcolm IV, Ada, Matilda, Margaret and Marjory.


Henry's second family with Ada de Warenne

They had three sons and three daughters, named William I, David, Malcolm IV, Ada, Marjory and Margaret.
