David was born in 1144 in Huntingdon,Huntingdonshire,England.  David's father was Henry de Huntington Prince of Scotland and his mother was Adelaide de Warenne.  His paternal grandparents were David I of Scotland and Maud Matilda de Huntingdon; his maternal grandparents were William II de Warenne Sir and Isabel De Vermandois. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William, David, Malcolm IV, Ada, Matilda, Margaret and Marjory. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William I, David, Malcolm IV, Ada, Marjory and Margaret.  He died at the age of 75 on June 17th, 1219 in Yardley,Jedburgh,Roxburghshire,Scotland.  He was buried in Abbey of Saltre,Huntingdonshire,Scotland.

‌David and Maud were married in a religious ceremony on August 26th, 1190 in Scotland.  They had three daughters named Isabella, Margaret and Ada.
