William I Count of Nevers and Auxerre was born about 1030.1   William I Count of Nevers and Auxerre's father was Renaud I Count of Nevers and Auxerre and his mother was Adaele (Alix) Princess Of FRANCE.  His paternal grandparents were Landeric (Laundry) III Seigneur de Maers, Count of Nevers an and Mathilda of Princess of Burgundy (Ivrea) Burgundy; his maternal grandparents were Robert II "The Pious" FRANCE and Constance De Toulouse [QUEEN OF FRANCE [QUEEN OF. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Baudouin VI (I) Count Of, Baldwin I (VI of Flanders) Count of, Robrecht I "De Fries" Count Of, Henry Count Of, Robert I 'the Frisian' Count of Flanders and Holland, Matilda Countess Of Flanders Queen Of and Judith (Fausta) Countess.  He died on June 20th, 1100 in Nevers,Nievre,France.  He was buried in Saint-Etienne,Nevers,Nievre,France.1 1
