His paternal grandparents were *John Webster and Lydia; his maternal grandparents were *John Rigby and *Elizabeth Rachel (Ann) Bevans. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Henry Howard, Thomas Grover, Joseph, William, James, Lydia, Mary, Rachel, Betsey, Mary Ann, Margaret, Hannah and *Sarah. He was the oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 60 in 1886 in Russel,KA.-
