Margaret Jane was born on April 18th, 1854 in Marietta,Washington County,Ohio. Margaret Jane's father was Adam Walters and her mother was Annara Cunningham. Her paternal grandparents were William Walters and Elizabeth Schriver; her maternal grandparents were Joshua Cunningham and Mary Walker. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Joseph Henry, Mayfield Erasmas, Emery, Cleave (Cleophus), Emily, Lenora Pricilla, Mary E. and Sarah Ellen. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 80 on October 11th, 1934 in Princeton,Indiana. She was buried in Orleans Fairview Cemetery,Indiana.-
