John Toothman

John was born in 1852 in Decatur,Sand Creek,IN.  John's father was *David Toothman and his mother was *Dolly \Dorothy Evans.  His paternal grandparents were *John Toothman and *Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were *Jacob Evans and *Elizabeth. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William, Joseph, Ratliff, Newton, Jasper, *Russell, Catherine and Ana A..  He was the youngest of the nine children.

‌John and Catharine were married in a religious ceremony on December 25th in Fulton Co.,IN.
