Wayne Walter Sloan 
Wayne Walter was born on September 7th, 1900 in Marengo,Drawford County,Indiana. Wayne Walter's father was John Eads Sloan and his mother was Sarah Ann (Sally) Vance. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Neal Sloan and Mary Eads; his maternal grandparents were John Lewis Vance and Jane Landers. He had four brothers and a sister, named Ridgely, Clayton, Delancy, Cecil and Lulu. He was the youngest of the six children. He had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named Perry V., Lyman Edward, John William Clark, Benjamin Lee, Treat Foresta and Nevada. He died at the age of 77 on December 22nd, 1977 in Floyd County,Indiana.-
